Entry Level Engineer – Marietta, GA

RINDT is looking for a Part-Time or Full-Time Civil Engineer for an opening in our engineering group. The ideal applicant can work both independently and within a team setting depending on the task and project. The majority of the role will include the following: help support the RINDT Team, design work, preparation of construction documents (plans and specifications) for both public and private clients. Our group is experiencing growth with both existing and new clients. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred. This position requires an energetic, eager, and driven candidate with a civil or environmental engineering background.

Responsibilities:

Qualified candidates will be expected to support project managers in providing technical support on various types of projects. This may include projects ranging from development plans (grading, drainage, site layout, utility plans) to public infrastructure types of projects (water/wastewater/process). This position will also require the ability to prepare reports, written technical documents, and computer-assisted designs.

This position also requires project coordination and close work with other engineers in the Civil Engineering Department. Familiarity with design basis information, codes, and regulations throughout the state also becomes necessary. Demonstration of the ability to adapt and work within other groups of RINDT, to best serve the whole team is highly preferred.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology. EIT Preferred.

1+ years of experience in civil engineering including areas such as:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Ability to analyze, and discern project objectives
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products
  • Excellent work ethic

Experience with industry-specific software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office, Adobe, etc.)

Professional Engineer -Marietta, GA

RINDT is looking for a Full-Time Civil Engineer with an active Professional Engineering (PE) license with Water/Wastewater experience. The ideal applicant can work both independently and within a team setting depending on the scope of work and specific responsibility. The majority of the role will include the leading the design and management of public infrastructure projects, such as water and wastewater, but is not limited. Our group is excited for new growth opportunities with new and existing clients. Experience with project management is a strong preference. This position requires an eager and motivated project manager with a water resources and civil engineering background.

Responsibilities:

Qualified candidates should be able to manage multiple projects for multiple clients, perform civil engineering design calculations and tasks, provide technical analyses and reviews, and delegate work when necessary. To succeed, knowledge of proposal development, financial budget monitoring, and workload projections are a must. Prior project management experience is strongly preferred, but we are most desiring a candidate that best fits our organization.

This position also requires project coordination and close work with other engineers in the Civil Engineering Departments. Familiarity with design basis information, standards, codes, and regulations throughout the state and industry are also necessary. Demonstration of the ability to adapt and work within other groups of RINDT, to best serve the whole team is needed.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in civil engineering including areas such as:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Utility and infrastructure design
  • Water distribution design and modeling
  • Booster station design
  • Sewer collection design
  • Force main and lift station design
  • Permitting & contracting
  • Technical specification writing
  • Project management

Experience with industry-specific software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office, Adobe among others)
